it was kind of on a whim but decided to drop my duster off at a local muffler shop to finally replace the salty perforated muffler with a new one after lunch. it usually takes about 20 minutes but they were crowded and said it would take a couple hours and so we had to walk back to the workshop.

急に思い付いてルンチの後ダスターをマフラー屋に出した。長らく放置してあった塩漬け穴開きマフラーをいよいよ交換するため。（塩漬けも穴開きも1年半前のWタナベ氏の新婚旅行中のハプニング、怒！）通常20分仕上げのところ混んでいて数時間掛かるというので、仕方なく徒歩でチャボまで戻る。約40分のウォーキング。

we came back a couple hours later and the guy was still working on the duster.　we took it for a test drive afterwards and man, no more exhaust leaks and she got her torque back. yay!

数時間後にSRで様子を見に来たら、まだやっている。ていうか、今やり始めた感じ。でも、大体20分で終わった。その後しばしテストドライブ。排気漏れがなくなり、トルクが戻って爽快な走りを取り戻したダスター。嬉しいな。
