pomona antique auto swap. in spite of ambiguous weather, we got here an hour earlier than usual. this was just around the entrance but shinya had already found an old milk crate in his price range (very important) and some tools :)

our friend mopar guy W took us to the "mopar car show and shine" in van nuys. the weather forecast said it was going to rain and it was already raining lightly but W called himself a sun bringer and said he could bring the sun wherever he goes so we went.

天気予報は雨、そして朝方すでにパラパラ降っていたけど、自称晴れ男のカーガイWタナベ氏がmoparのイベントに行くというので一緒に行ってみた。絶対晴れると豪語するWタナベ氏。会場の公園に着いたら本当に雨が止んだ。ただの偶然なのになぜか得意顔のWタナベ氏をなるべく見ないようにして歩いた。

つ、ついに80年代のこういう車が注目される時代が来たか！たまにル・バロン（レ・バロン）が走っているのを見かけると、80s臭がプンプンで今見ると新鮮だなぁなんて一瞬思う時があるけど、やっぱり熱狂的に好きな人達がいてこうして大切にしているのですね、知らなかった。

they rode here, park, have fun, and left. was pretty mellow, relaxed event.

自走して帰っていく姿が最高。ミニカーの本物版みたい。素敵なクルマがこんなにたくさん集まっていても、気合い入れ過ぎのスカした人とか全然いなくてマッタリ感が非常に良い。こういうクルマがすっごく好き、という気持ちがあればそれでいいのです。気が楽～
