トップ・エンドを再び見直します。

today became tomorrow. after the ride, shinya wanted to check the top end one more time.

午前12時を回りました。今日乗ってみた結果、もう一度だけトップ・エンドを開けてチェックしたいという木村氏。

 curious bystander Wata swung by.

そこにぎっくりWタナベ氏登場。完全なる野次馬。

真剣な木村氏の横でお気楽なぎっくり氏、またの名を顔丸さん。

 "is it complicated?" Wata asked. "no, it's not!", shinya replied. 

完璧に太ったぎっくりWタナベ氏、もぐもぐ、もう食べられないぉ。

to take a break, went to check on Wata at #12. he was about to replace the front brake pads for our van.

気晴らしに12番を覗くと、ぎっくりWタナベ氏がちょうどチャボバンのブレーキ・パッドを換えてくれている所だった。

Wata who was working late on his project at #12 blew in around 1 am and spotted the special carburetor that shinya cherishes.

真夜中1時過ぎに12番で作業していたWタナベ氏が7番にぶらりとやって来た。そして、こんな時間に木村氏の大事に仕舞ってあるお宝キャブレターを見つけてあーだこーだ。

it's a 50's formula car SU carb, two barrel. they really like mechanical stuff :)

50年代のフォーミュラ・カーの2バレルのSUキャブ。エンジンとかキャブレターとかメカメカしいものが本当に好きなんですね、この方達。

さて、ナッコーのトップ・エンドの見直しを終え、再び組みます。

took a break and came to pick up the CB750 at warehouse in Santa Fe Springs that was just arrived back from Brooklyn Invitational.

いったんナッコーの作業の手を止め、ブルックリン・インヴィテーショナルから戻って来た王様を迎えにサンタフェ・スプリングスの倉庫までやって来た。

our workshop became bustling :) we call it a "motorcycle forest". shinya got back to work in the forest.

オートバイの森のようになってきたチャボ。好きなものに囲まれながらナッコーの作業に戻る木村氏。
