magic hour ride...

 quick GMR ride.

日が暮れてきたので急いで山脈コースへ。

met cool father/son driving their Porsche 914 and 944.

914と944オーナー親子との出会いあり。

 colors of the sky changes rapidly at this hour.

空の色がどんどん変わるこの時間帯が好き。

he's going to make the mufflers for my project trump.

トライアンフ、棚からぼた餅号。マフラーを作ってくれるらしい。

  

and it fired up unexpectedly!

そして、いきなり掛かっちゃった！

なんだか一気に進んだ。嬉しい。

such a turn of events...

shinya wrapped up for the day earlier but something flashed across his mind and started to work on the muffler of the Kawi Z1 after midnight.

いったん終わりにしたはずが、急にZ1のマフラーが気になって作業が始まる真夜中12時。

it's just another manic monday...

 found this handlebar at Willow swap meet for my pre-unit project.

ウィローのスワップ・ミートでこのハンドルバーを見つけた。どうかな。迷うな。

 now it got the headlight too.

ヘッドライトも付いた。うしし。

the CL parts. shinya found the original red paint from underneath one of the frames.

ガラクタカラの山。このフレーム、オリジナルはレッド・ペイントだ！とどんどん剥がし始める木村氏。止まらない。

now back to the Aermacchi. shinya's still thinking about something so he decided to pause for a moment.  

うーん、ちょっと行き詰まったそうなので今日はマッキはここまで。

start getting ready for the new land speed racing season.

早い。新しいレース・シーズンがすぐそこまで来ている。そろそろ準備開始せねば。

shinya wanted to see the on going project from all angles so he swapped places of the project UK and the project R.

進行中のプロジェクトを色々な角度から見られるように、マッキ・プロジェクトとZ1の場所を入れ替えた。

missed lunch so we went for a supper ride and found this lumber yard and its character "Bill Ding".

ランチを逃してしまったので恒例のルンチ・ライドは夕方のサパー・ライドに。隣町で個性的な材木屋さんを発見。

my Thunderbird tank is now black because i have some ideas that i want to try.

筆者のビワトラ、ちょっとやりたいことがあって現在タンクが黒くなっている。もうビワじゃない。

just like he was beamed up by aliens for a while...

back to work. and for hours, without saying a single word, shinya just kept working just like he was abducted by aliens or something.

仕事に戻る。そしてしばらく宇宙人にさらわれたかのように集中、何時間も無言でてきぱき動いていた。
