近所のダッツン・フェアレディー1600のオーナーが、Wタナベ氏の240Zを見にやって来た。はちみつシマシマ猫が興味を示している・・・💦

it's Wata's next door glass shop's and he's working on it.

お隣のガラス屋さんのクルマなんだって。なぜかWタナベ氏が作業してる。

in return, he gets the rear window seal for his El Camino.

日本行きのエルカミーノのリア・ウィンドウのシールを換えてと頼んだら、じゃあこっちもやってくれって言われちゃったみたい。ノーと言えないWタナベ氏。

デラックス・ツールスタンドがガタついてきたので強化中。

shinya scribbled on a magazine ad, added afro hair, mustache and beard on the guy because he didn't look like "THE Harley-Davidson MAN".

「ザ・ハーレーデーヴィットソン・マン」とうたっているのに、モデルの男性はひとつもハーレーっぽくない、と、雑誌の切り抜きに落書きをする木村氏。ヒゲボーボーのアフロヘアに変身。

 the SR 40th anniversary project.

勝手にSR40周年を祝っちゃおうプロジェクト。

shinya knows that the seat will be black so he temporarily painted the seat section in black so that he can decide on the colors for other parts.

今のところシートは黒に決めている木村氏。他の部分の色をどうするかはまだ決めていないので、考えやすくするためにとりあえずシート部分を黒く塗ってみる。

although shinya loves cats, they don't like him much 😿

自称ネコ好きの木村氏。でも、この界隈のすべてのネコからひとつも好かれていないという悲しい事実😿　みんなそそくさと逃げちゃう。猫心をちっとも分かっていないのね。

scored some knicks and knacks from a neighbor guy, and found many Triumph parts 🍀

近所のおじさんからガラクタを引取った木村氏。でもけっこうトライアンフのパーツがたくさん入ってたんだって。ラッキー🍀

at Wata's. finished up the wagon and he was finally able to work on the El Camino which is going to Japan soon.

12番。ガラス屋さんに頼まれた作業を終えて、やっとやりたかったエルカミーノの作業に戻れたみたい。

she has been settled in at our workshop for a while now but still acts like a stray cat　😹

最近チャボに住みついているくせにちっともコソ泥感が抜けないネズミ色の猫。

this one is another stray cat who's very timid and only makes an appearance late at night. she comes in to our workshop nightly and eats a lot.

こっちはほうれい線くっきりブチャ顔のとても臆病な野良。必ず夜遅くにそーーっとチャボに顔を出して、びっくりするくらいご飯をがっつり食べてどこかに帰っていく。

it finally happened! i caught up on blog posting at last. i told shinya about it and he said he would work on my Triumph a bit in reward even though it was already past midnight 😻

いやぁ、ついに遅れに遅れていたブログが追いついちゃった。やっと年を越せた感じ。そのことを木村氏に伝えたら、ご褒美にビワ号を少しやってあげるよって。もう夜中の12時過ぎていたのにありがたや。それにしてもほんとに少しだった💢 あー自分内達成感はんぱない。

late night Guzzi talks...

the Moto Guzzi project. the owner KB from out-of-state stopped by and a powwow started. he saw the basket G5 that shinya picked for him for the first time.

グズィ・プロジェクト。別の州に住むオーナーKB氏が立ち寄ってくれたので、夜遅くのグズィ談義が始まった。木村氏が選んだバラバラのG5の姿を始めて見るオーナー。

since the owner is very tall and has super long legs, that is beyond the reach of our imagination, shinya asked KB to sit on the Le Mans III to see the position.

背が高くて脚がとてつもなく長いKB氏、ポジションがどんな感じか見たいのでル・マンIIIに跨ってもらう。やはり我々の想像を超えた位置に脚が突き出ている。

  

the gray cat, one of the outsiders, has never climbed on any of our motorbikes before but tonight. i guess she wanted join the Guzzi powwow, too 😸

最近チャボに居座っているねずみ色の野良猫。今までどのオートバイにも登らなかったのに今宵に限ってグズィに鎮座。話し合いに参加したいみたい。　😸　かわいい。

we can't believe how quickly the time goes. they've been known each other for over 10 years. now they race together and meet more often, their friendship deepened much more than the time that shinya first built Sepia for KB. even this Guzzi project idea was born from their small talk a while ago. this will be a very special project and can't wait to see it.

早いものでKB氏と知り合って10年以上が経つ。今では彼の息子達も巻き込んで一緒にレースをしたり会う機会も増え、最初にセピアを作らせてもらった時より友情が深まっている。このグズィのプロジェクトも1年前のたわいもない会話から実現することになった。お互い10年の月日を経て気心知れた今、どんな1台が出来上がるのかとても楽しみである。
