 back to the Yamaha SR 40th anniversary project.

本日は「ヤマハSR40周年勝手に祝っちゃおうプロジェクト第2弾」に思いを集中させる。

shinya is obsessed by wheels, brakes, and tyres. 

やはり足回りが付くとぐんとオートバイらしさが出ますな。おしゃれは足元から。

the SR 40th anniversary project. the emblem was already mounted when i took my eyes off him for a second in the morning.

勝手にSR40周年記念プロジェクト。朝、ちょっと目を離した隙にエンブレムが埋め込まれていた。昨晩から段取りしてあったらしい。やるな。

 next up is the taillight.

やっぱりKONIのショックを使いたいのでレイダウンするためのアンカーボルトを作っているらしい。

he doesn't draw when he build motorcycle but he DOES draw when he makes parts. "OF COURSE, i draw!" i know he's fed up with me... 🐼

オートバイを作る時に画は描かないのにパーツを作る時は描くのか！と驚いていたら、「あったりまえだよっ！」と言われた。そういえばいつも描いてるな、そんなに驚く必要もなかったな、と言ってから思った。

today, i had some errands to run and took the Aermacchi 350 Sprint. somehow it broke down on the way back and i did everything i could but eventually i had to call shinya to pick me up... that'd be the last thing i wanted to do but, hey, it was too far to push it back.

本日ちょっとした野暮用を片付けるために外回りを任された筆者。アエルマッキで颯爽と出掛けたは良いが帰る途中で止まってしまった。色々思いつく限りをやってみたけどエンジンが掛かる気配なし。仕事中の木村氏に助けを求めるのは心苦しい。でも、押して帰るには遠い。ということで、100回キック地獄の後、恐縮マックスながらバンでお迎えをお願いした。

anyway, i felt really terrible about taking shinya's time away. he was busy finalizing the Z1... wait, what's this? 

あー直って良かった。でも、Z1の最終仕上げで忙しい木村氏の時間を取らせちゃって本当に申し訳なかったな・・・あれ？何これ？

ah, he was making the side cover for his own CB160. (he said it took only five minutes.)

まさかご自分のCB160用のサイド・カヴァーを作っていたんじゃ・・・？「あ、これは5分しか掛かってない、簡単なやつだから。」と慌てて言うわりには丁寧な仕上がり。

"here, here! i was making the stay for the seat section for the Z1. you can't see it but it's under here!" shinya said in a fidget :D

「こっち、こっち。Z1のシートカウルの下のステイを作ってました！ちょっと見えにくいですけど！」と、なぜか先生に怒られて言い訳する生徒みたいになる木村氏。プププ。

でもやっぱりメインはこちらのサイド・カヴァーっぽい。

Junk Motorのサンドキャスト・フェンダー TOM1号をぶった切って勝手にコラボレーション。
