straight rhythm...

team Brat Style gave us the tickets for this 1/2 mile-long straight track with 75 jumps supercross head-to-head bracket-style competition at Pomona fairplex. i was too much occupied watching and didn't take much photos. you can check what the course looked like here.

東の浜レースが延期になったのでチケットを買ったのに行けなくなった、とブラット・スタイルのMスミ嬢から連絡があり、そのチケットを頂いてしまいました。ストレート・リズムというスーパークロスの直線版レースで、ポモナにて。0.5マイルの直線に75個のジャンプ。と言っても観るのに夢中になりすぎてコース全体の写真を一切撮っておりませぬ。こんな感じです。

the jerkyls...

while shinya was working on Spike, Pipeburn S and the Jerkyls A from australia stopped by.

さて、木村氏がスパイクに複数の問題点を見つけてガビーンってなっている所に、オーストラリアから来ているPipeburnのSとフォトグラファーのAが寄ってくれた。

when shinya heard that they were seeking for a bike to race on weekend at Hell on Wheels（vintage motox race), he took out his SL100 to show them just in case they wanted to race it.

実はこの二人、週末にHell on Wheelsでヴィンテージ・モトXのレースに行くんだけど、レースに出られるオートバイを探しているんだって。それを聞いた木村氏、これなら持ってるけどと自慢のSL100を出してきた。

 they liked it and decided to go for it!

どうやらこれでレースに出ることが決定したらしい。

「レース用パイプあるよ」とスパイクのことも忘れて参加してくる木村氏。

we haven't seen our friend's son, the little motocross racer Kai riding for a while so we went to see him racing.

友人の息子でモトクロス・レーサーのKイノスケがオートバイに乗っている姿を最近見ていなかったので、久々に観戦しに行くことに。

he got taller, but has same smile :)　now Kai can communicate in english without any problem.

笑顔は変わらずだけど、背がずいぶんと伸びました。英語もばっちり、今やお父さんの通訳も果たします。

and he used to ride KX65 but now he rides KX85.

そういえばKX65からKX85に乗り換えたんだった。オートバイも立派な大きさに。

苦労の絶えないお父さんは少しほっそりしたかな。

he's a handsome young fellow filled with hopes and dreams. we hope that he will continue to ride freely and spontaneously and enjoy motocross as much as he can.

おーやっぱり乗り方も表情もぐんと成長してる！かっこいい！夢と希望に溢れた若きレーサー。これからものびのび楽しく、でも思いっきり本気で乗ってずーっとモトクロスを好きでいられますよう。
