surmising from the pictures below...

the land speed race is not anywhere near as simple as it sounds. well, anything is easier said than done.　it, the race, always reminds us that how important and fun it is to keep on trying and not give up. 

however, my personal favorite part is to see the extraordinary creations of shinya actually burn up the dry lake, salt flats, or winding road. i think it's crazy. i enjoy and appreciate whatever shinya makes as art but shinya always treat them as motorcycle and it reminds me that they are motorcyeles. it's just amazing...

レースのためスピードのためだけに作られた昔のマシンって緊張感があってシンプルで、今見てもカッコイイ。けど・・・レースのためって訳でもなく変なモノを創って干からびた湖やら塩の上で走らせて、色々いじくって出来る限りのスピードに挑戦しちゃうなんて変態的でステキすぎ！何十年後かに誰かがそういう木村さんの作ったものを発掘してびっくりするんじゃないかしら。何かレースでも走ってたっぽいけど、何でこんな変な形のもの付いてんのこのバイク？とか、未来の人泣かせ。そりゃ今見てもびっくりするけども。変態万歳！
