the longing eyes...

what is shinya reading?

a book about japanese motorcycle history

engine

tank

emblem and meter

there were nearly 150 of autobike manufacturers in japan in late 40's and 50's including those micro enterprises. some of them are still here as you know but most of them were vanished before they were even recognized. they were all minimal and roughly made, more like for work than for fun. then those mainstream manufacturers started to copy british bikes and autobikes became widely accepted and loved by japanese people...that being said, we can still find some rad and unique bikes in the book.
