by feeling with the hand...

these are the Robert Carter photographs that shinya found at the auction last week. the one on the bottom, the super charged vincent is the one shinya doodled in his notebook when he was 14.

taking out a disc rotor from a harely-davidson or a GSXR wheel...

for research. shinya wants to know all the different pitches of the different disc rotors for the bmw project. he likes to see in person rather than researching online.

doing Brake mods to the BMWs is always fun. Trying to work with the factory fork sets and such can mean narrowing up the hub or making a shim/spacer to the caliper. Though, it occurred to me from viewing the past few blogs another option is to modify the fork braces to change the relation of the caliper to rotor (obvious new spacers need for axle) The front end is K bike or Mono shock air head? Monoshocks (R100R/ mystics) came with spoke front wheels and dual disks...

Rhynchocephalian: he's just tinkering with them right now to feel it, nothing is final here. he may find something new or different, he may end up with using the ordinary way, who knows. please be patient :)
