it's new year's day but wait, it looks no different from any other day...back to suzuki GS1000 engine.

元旦なのにいきなりいつもと何ら変わらぬ感じですみません。この間の続きに突入です。

shinya was modifying the valve spring compressor for harley to use on suzuki.

まずは、ハーレー用のバルブ・スプリング・コンプレッサーをスズキ用に改造していたのであります。

笑顔の訳は・・・

 

because he found those valves that were shaved to make it lighter by hand!!

GS1000のエンジンから手削りで軽量化されたバルブが出てきたから。

 

the ports were re-designed and polished beautifully.

美しいポート研磨にうっとり。

shinya observed it perpetually and said "what a wonderful new year's day!"　yes, it's another wonderful day.

飽くことなく覗き続ける木村氏、「ああ、良い正月だなあ！」と。よかった、明けましておめでとう！
