the longest 60 miles round trip...

shinya, W(mopar guy), Mr.Ouch!, shinya's nephew sin5 and i decided to take all of our stock bikes and head to born free. sin5 just got his motorcycle license right before he left japan and this will be his first time riding on the street. his uncle didn't tell him where we were going so he had no idea what born free was. hope we can get there all in one piece.

sin5's face turned pale already at the gas station right next to our workshop.

just had to take a brake at 1/5 point because sin5's ride was really tense and we all got tensed up.

 machine trouble? not really.

okay, we made it!! wait...where's sin5?

oh, he stopped here...only 10 more yards to the parking spot. well, we can say he made it. good job, sin5!

 Matt and Brittney Olsen's
great to see it in person! cant' wait to see it on the track!

 Len Higa with hawaiian breeze!

we knew that Len worked very hard to build this one and he did a great job.

well, everybody spend a great deal of time and effort to build one for the show. it's a great opportunity to have and share this kind of big moment with like-minded people. although we still keep definite stance of anti-competition in aesthetics (we'd rather be competing in races), we had a great time and enjoyed all kinds of motorcycles there. great people, great atmosphere, great show.

I know you dont like competitions but I get the impression born free isn't about that. Shinya could always creat something to raffle off or even design the awards ??? That would be cool to receive something so special. Looks like fun, I hope to make it over one year from the UK and yes, wish my uncle was as cool as Shinya. Wait, I'm an uncle, thanks you guys, you have inspired me for when my neice and nephew are older haha keep up the good blog and work. Peace x
