近所のスピードウェイにNASCARとスキッド・プレート・レーシングなるもの、そして花火というデラックスなイベントを観戦しに来た。Oウチ氏アメリカ最後の夜を華やかに演出。

後ろのタイヤの代わりにスキッドプレートの付いた車逹が火の粉を飛ばしてぶつかり合いながら競争するへんてこなレース。

and shinya, too. after the race, the huge fireworks show started right in front of us and we all looked up the sky in a trance.
レースに夢中の木村氏。この後期待以上の大花火大会が目の前で始まり、空を見上げて過ごした。
