heartbreaking...

this is right behind us around 6pm. around the same area just had a small brush fire about 2 weeks ago.

チャボのすぐ裏で山火事が始まった。2週間前も同じ所が少し燃えた。これが午後6時頃。

one of two superscoopers.　there were 4 or 5 water dropping helicopters, too.

スーパースクーパーという消火飛行機が2機出動していた。他に消火ヘリが4,5機。

however, it was blazing up. we were ok but it was too sad to see it burning.　

しかしながら、火は広がっていく。チャボは無事だし避難命令も出ていないけど、とても悲しい。

this is highway 39, the last left turn we make to the canyon entrance from our workshop. really sad.

これはいつも山の入口に入るのに最後に左に曲がる交差点。こんな所まで火が回ってしまった。悲しい。
