the seasonal event...

on the way to vegas. it was freezing in the morning at high altitude and in the desert. and our van has no heater as you can tell by shinya's expression.　it was like 250 miles in a freezer.

ラス・ヴェガスに向かう途中。峠や砂漠の早朝はかなり冷え込みます。が、チャボバンにはヒーターなんてものは付いておりませんので、とにかく着込むしかない訳です。ブランケットを2枚足に巻いて震えながらの400キロの旅。

at bonhams auction venue. one of our favorite movies is "bullitt" and this was its costume.

奥からthe vintagentのポール・ドーリンス氏、リバイバル　サイクルズのアラン氏、画家コンラッド・リーチ氏、木村氏。会場で好きな友人達に会えるのも楽しみのひとつ。

木村氏、キャノンボールのプロモーターのロニー・アイザム氏、一緒に第一回・二回両方参加したキャノンボーラー、ジム・ペッティ氏。ミニ同窓会。皆遠くの州からヴェガスに集まって来ています。

no, our van doesn't belong to any tidy places especially resort areas.　but at least shinya adds some water with elegance.

チャボバンが最も似合わない場所、こぎれいなカジノ、ホテル、リゾート地。しかし、おかまいなしで優雅に水を足す木村氏。

meet up with the owner of the sepia (knucklehead build by shinya in 2008) and his buddy at the auction and receive the sepia at the parking lot becomes our annual event now.

毎年都合が合う限りユタ州のセピア（木村氏が2008年に制作したナックル）のオーナーと彼の友人とオークション会場で待ち合わせ、会場の駐車場でセピアを受け取ります。

instead of letting the sepia hole up in the owner's garage due to the snow, we take it to our workshop, check up on the bike and ride it during the winter in sunny azusa.

冬の間雪深いユタ州のオーナーのガレージで冬眠させるより、チャボで点検も兼ねて乗っていたほうがいいね、といって始まった季節行事。これもオークションに来る楽しみのひとつであります。
