cannonball prep day 3, first half...

these delicate and easy to get hot original dorms made by bronze were the bane for all the 1915 indians in the first pre-1916 motorcycle canonnball race.(we are the only teens indian in the second cannonball and this one)  so we asked TOYOOKA to make a pair with soft steel. we need to fab a bit.

さて、1915年のインディアン泣かせだったこのブロンズ製のドーム。（初回のpre-1916キャノンボールの時は1915年のインディアンが我々を含め て5台、1914年が一台参加していた。2回目と今回はティーンズのインディアンは我々だけ）すぐに熱で触れないくらい熱くなって弱いので、今回は特別に 柔らかい鉄で作ってもらったトヨオカ製で挑戦。少々加工が必要なので、慎重に挑む。

while waiting for the indian motor to cool down, shinya started to work on the spike for the el mirage june meet next weekend.

溶接したところが冷めるまでの待ち時間を利用して、スパイクに取り掛かる木村氏。来週末はもうエルミラージ。インディアンとナッコーの同時進行・・・

 back to indian. so far so good. it's now one beautiful motor.
