azusa rocky mountains... day 3 part 2

since pomona round trip was an easy 30-mile ride, shinya and neemie had decided to try the best ever condition indian on the azusa canyon road. it starts from azusa, some windings, and ends in glendora. approx 33 miles, max elevation around 3000 feet. need to simulate the rocky mountains, they said.

up hill, no problem

down hill, pretty scary!

 right on!

After that downhill ride you know why some of the guys have installed later front brakes!! Anyway, it is not a good ride if there is no excitement!

You guys are making this look too fun and easy.
Except for having to take the motor apart anyway!

How did the new brakes perform? I re-lined the brakes on the X a while ago, and a minivan pulled out in front of me yesterday! I stomped the brake and was surprised to hear it squeal the rear tire. No accident.

See you in 2 weeks.
