share your knowledge and skills...

our cannonball camp training day 4 started with a great encounter. M, a.k.a. rockford, a great machinist and whom we admire very much, he stopped by and shared some useful mill machining tips with us.

he drove all the way from vegas,
where he had a conference, just to see us.
and he was going back to mid-west right next day.

he brought some special tools to show us
and to give us some great tips.

shinya and niimie kept their ears open
for what M was telling.

if you like to become a great machinist you have to:
  1. have knowledge and skills
  2. gain experience
  3. use the right and good tools and machines
but what we found out today was this. the true machinist will be humble and shares his knowledge and skills freely with others just like M. thank you M and it was a pleasure to meet you in person again. hope to see you soon.
