thanks to our dear neighbor, my poor duster has been left in undrivable condition and shinya came up with this crazy idea...

お節介な近所のメキシコ人、西田敏行風板金屋さんに乗れない状態で放置された可愛そうなマイ・ダスター・・・このままじゃいつまで経っても乗れない・・・ということで木村氏が斬新なアイディアを提案してくださいました。

that is... 

そのアイディアとは・・・

1. shinya will pretend to be doing 

all the metal work himself...

木村氏が自分で錆びた部分の板金をやる素振りを見せる・・・

2. then maybe our neighbor will feel bad about it

and take it over...

お節介西田がプロ魂を揺さぶられ、

俺がやるから心配するな、と言ってくれるのを待つ、というもの。

but shinya got into it 

and acturally started to work on it...

ところがやり始めたら楽しくなっちゃって本格的に作業開始・・・

マズイぞ・・・

"oh, this is so fun!" he said...

 oh,no...

「板金って面白いよ！」と木村氏は言う・・・

ややや、本当にマズイ。

thank our neighbor, they did take it over

and my duster is happily in their shop now.

it will be done pretty soon. 

was a good strategy after all.
