when it comes to the motor, shinya has a good ear...

while we were at the bug-in drag race, where the drag strip was located out side the circuit, we heard some engine roaring from the inside the track surrounded by a tall wall. shinya said "this sound...they have to be vintage motors...," so we tried to check it out and found out that they were having annual "classic vintage road races" in the circuit. wow! and yay! we went in and first thing we found was a parked cortina wagon! it was our first time to see another cortina around here.

ほんわかバグのドラッグレースの最中に、サーキットの内側から聞こえてくるエンジンの唸り音。トラックは高い壁に覆われていて一体何が走っているのか全然見えない。でも、「この音は絶対にビンテージのエンジンだ！」という木村氏。サーキットの入り口まで行ってみると・・・年に一度の「クラッシック・ビンテージ・ロードレース」開催中！何年か前にN美氏と来たけど、その後開催日が分からず毎年逃していたレースだ！大興奮で中へ。まず最初に出会ったのがパーキングに停めてあったコルチーナ・ワゴン！木村氏の緑カー以外、ここら辺でコルチナなんて見たことないよ。
