they are middle of somthing they really love...

so the 1915 indian engine sounded pretty strong and smooth, definitely better than last time. are we done? nope. shinya and niimie started to take out and opened the engine. why why why what's wrong? i cried. they said they were going to inspect every single top and bottom, nook and cranny, the whole motorcycle. and they laughed at me as always. shinya had replaced the pistons but they hadn't open the bottom since they did in new mexico. remember the crankpin incident?

音から察するに何だかとってもいい感じなエンジン。前回よりもかなり力強いしスムーズ。だからって準備終了って訳ではないんだよねー。乗り終わったらさっさとバラし始める木村氏とN美氏。トップもボトムもアソコもココもぜ~んぶバラして点検するそうです。ガタがきているものも沢山あるし、締めなおしたり緩めたり作り直したり取り替えたり。ボトムは前回ニューメキシコ(魔のクランクピン・ポッキリ事件)で開けて以来触れていないし、やっぱりやることは山ほどあるある。だけど結局本当に好きだからやってるだけなんだよねー。真剣に見えるけど、ほんとはニヤけてるの、知ってるもの。楽しくて仕方がないんだよねー。

They seem to be busy 'Taking it together'. That's what an old boss of mine would say after he saw someone assemble, disassemble, then re-assemble a motor in the shop. He would walk up and say, "I see you are busy taking it together". And then he'd walk off shaking his head, and muttering to himself...
