we took turns to test ride the van. it runs silky and smooth :) i'm very confident about crossing country on this :) we'll see.
 
本日は代わる代わるテストライドの日。絹のような走りに唸る、木村氏。私は大陸横断の手応えを確かに感じた・・・気がした。こればっかりは行ってみないと分かりませんけど、行けそうもないのと行けそうな気がするのとでは大違い。

i only used a scraper to peel off a huge decal on the body.

スクレーパー一本でサイドのドデカステッカーをはがす色はがしニスト、ちょっとはがし過ぎちゃった所はドンマイっと。

the original paint was blue. then someone put pearl eggshell white with those fresh lines. but then next owner threw down a brush painting in bright white tried to say "a brand new paint"...

オリジナルはブルーだったみたい。それから誰かがパール・オフホワイトに塗ってこの大胆なラインを施したというのに、前オーナーが恐怖の刷毛塗りで全部青白く塗りつぶしちゃったのね。広告にはニューペイントって書いてあったっけ、残念！けど、うっすら前のペイントが出てきていい感じになった今、可愛さが増しちゃったスットコWタナベ号改めチャボ・シェヴィヴァン。
