a fruitful sunday...

our friend will be stopping by to ride the honda XL100 which was in perfect condition when we took it to the bonneville this summer. but...today of all days, it woouldn't start.

今日に限ってまったくエンジンが掛からなくなってしまったホンダのXL100"つむじ風号"。ボンネビルに持って行った時は絶好調だったのにな。後でつむじ風氏が乗りに来てくれるのになあ。
 

shinya did his best but time was up. our friends from san clemente stopped by on the way back from their desert exploration trip. will fix the XL100 for the next time.

木村氏はギリギリまでねばったけれど、エンジン掛からず。サンクレメンテから砂漠探検旅行に行っていたつむじ風氏とそよ風ちゃんが、連休最終日の渋滞に巻き込まれながらも無事にチャボ着。
 

anyway, we had a lot to catch up on and the time flew by.

つむじ風号のことにはあまり触れないようにして、来るものを拒むかのような奥の間、喫茶チャボに初のご案内。色々おしゃべりしていたらあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまった。奥の間でも気にせずくつろげちゃうつむじ風氏とそよ風ちゃん・・・嬉しいな。次はもう少し難易度の高いスナック・チャボにもいらしてくださいね。
 

after they left, crushed shinya checked the wiring diagram for the XL100 and tried to fix it again.

さて、つむじ風号に乗ってもらうことが出来なかったのが相当に悔しかった木村氏、二人が去ってしまった後に再度チャレンジ。配線図チェック中。
 

and soon he hopped and yelled "i got it! i got it!"

しばらくすると、「やったー！絶対動く！」と足取りが軽くなる木村氏。いやですわ、趣味の時間にこの真剣な顔。
 

 and he did fixed it!

そして、掛かりました。
