shinya received these old plomb wrenches from other state today. he usually finds them at local swap meets since plomb was based in los angeles since 1907 to 1948. (they changed name from plomb to proto in 1948 after they were sued by "plumb" tool company, found in 1888.)

コツコツと集めている木村氏お気に入りのplomb tool。1907年から1948年までL.A.ベースのツール会社で作られていたものなので、（1948年に1888年からやっているplumbという激似の名前のツール会社から訴えたれりすったもんだがあり、名前をprotoに変更）普段は地元のスワップミートで見つけることが多い。しかし、本日他州からこの3本が届いた。ひっそりとオーダーなさっていたのですね。

錆やらペンキやらベトベトしたものやら、旧いツールからワイヤーブラシで様々な汚れを落としてあげると、丁寧に作られた美しいツールが蘇る。ステキ。
