the power of the 496 big block...

Wata got this beautiful Yenko Nova for his client in Japan.

ぎっくりでぽっちゃりなWタナベ氏（東のスットコ）が日本のお客さん（というか西のスットコ）に頼まれたイェンコ仕立てのノヴァをヴァレーまで引き取りに来た。

he had to drive it back so shinya and i accompanied Wata to drive his el camino back. here, jump starting the Nova at McD parking lot on the way back.

 イェンコ・ノヴァを乗って帰らなくてはならない（そうしないと売主の気が変わって一生買えないかもしれないというややこしい状況にて）東のスットコWタナベ氏に付き添って我々も。休憩で寄ったMカフェの駐車場でジャンプ中。帰りは筆者がぎっくりWタナベ氏のエル・カミーノを乗ってかえる羽目に。（ま、そのために付き合ったんだけど）

the former owner was a drummer and shinya found a drum stick in the trunk and was air drumming :P

売主がドラマーだったので、トランクにドラムスティックが転がっていて（しかも1本）エア・ドラムを叩く木村氏。両手両足全部同じリズム。

beauty. and went back with no mishap. which was good but a bit disappointed... 

カッコイイ。そして特にハプニングもなくアズサに戻る。つまらん。

back to the workshop and what first thing shinya did was neither taking off his hat nor washing his hands but picking up where he left off. he went straight to the workbench literally :D　and he does that all the time. 

さて、チャボに戻りまして木村氏が一番最初にやったこと。帽子を脱ぐわけでも手を洗うわけでもなく、作業台に直行。出かける前にやっていた作業に戻る。筆者は外から戻ったらまずはお茶でも飲んで落ち着こうと考えるので、パッと切り替えられる木村氏ってスゴイなあ、といつも思う。
