although he has got a long list of things to be done, Wata has been
freely given of his time to help shinya since yesterday. he's a car guy but there are so many things that he could do on a motorcycle. plus, he finished his thing, the malibu tonight...

さて12番のWタナベ氏。たくさんやる事があるというのに、昨日から木村氏の10日プロジェクトのために惜しみなく時間を割いてくれております。驚いたのはカーガイだというのに、かなり様々なオートバイ関連のことをサササーとこなせること。10日プロジェクトが一段落ついた隙にご自分の仕事に戻り、マリブも完成。ほとんど休みなく12番と7番を行ったり来たりして大活躍なのです。

day 1, the last ride...

for certain reason, shinya was asked to set his shoulder to the wheel for our friend and build one bike from scratch in 10 days. 10 days?! that's crazy, right? more importantly, it's impossible for him to stop whatever he's working on right now. we value our clients who are patiently waiting　more than anything.

訳あって、今日から10日間で一台仕上げるという気の狂ったプロジェクトに一肌脱ぐことに決めた木村氏。知人のプロジェクトのためとは言え、いくらなんでも10日って・・・それより待ってくれているお客さんの仕事の手を全部止めなくてはならないなんてあり得ない。急いでちゃちゃっとライトなものを作るのだったらもっと腕の良いファブリケーターに頼むべきだし、そのためにチャボのお客さんを待たせる訳にはいかない。

so shinya explained our friend that the only philosophy he has is to make something that unique to him with his soul, hold to uncompromising standards and that can not be done in 10 days. but our friend in full knowledge of that and still asking this. it's a huge favor and shinya wouldn't do something like this for money or fame but for a friend? eventually shinya was moved by what our friend was trying to do and his passion and ended up taking this crazy project. 10 days sounds crazy but to put it the other way around shinya can only spare 10 days because if he tries hard he can catch up on that 10 days and go back to things that he's doing right now. 

so, no canyon ride for shinya for the next 10 days or so. that means no canyon ride for all of us here. Wata, sin5 and i are going to support and cheer shinya up as much as we can to make it happen :)

自分にしか出来ないものを妥協をせず魂を込めて精一杯作る、これだけを信条にやっていることを説明し、それは決して10日で出来ることではないと何度も断った。でも、知人もそれを承知で頼んでいる。お金や名声の為にだったら引き受けない。結局はその知人がやろうとしていることへの情熱に力を貸したいと思ったので引き受けた。10日というのはクレイジーだけど逆に言えば10日だったら手を止めた作業の遅れを取り戻すことができる。やると言ったからには何が何でもやる。時間がなかったなんて言い訳は出来ない。形が残るものだから、どんな状況、環境でもヘボいものを作る訳にはいかない。ということで、今日から月末までは山を封印して集中することになった木村氏。いざ、籠りんぐ開始！籠りんぐの様子や詳細は後でまとめてポストするつもり。

外国でこんな風に自分の基地を持つって本来はそんなに簡単なことじゃない。周りの先輩逹に感謝を忘れず、sin5氏がこれから何かカッコイイものを発信出来ることに期待！

sin5氏が12番で何やら始めましたが・・・

just because he turned over motorcycles three times in a row from day 1, sin5　is not a bum. he knows how to saw :D

しょっぱなから連続してオートバイを倒したことによって、ダメダメキャラが定着しているsin5氏。のこぎりを持たせたら何かをやらかすんじゃないかと思って期待を込めて見ていたら、なかなか手際が良い。

when somebody starts something, everyone start to gather around :)

おお、何か始まるぞーと皆集まってくる。

まるで青春ドラマ。

 "let me try!" local boy A took turn.

「ちょっとボクにやらせて！」とローカル青年Aがのこぎりを取る。

 "let me do it!" now Wata's turn.

続いて「私に任せなさーい！」とWタナベ氏がしゃしゃり出てくる。

 eventually sin5 was the best saw handler.

結局sin5氏がいちばん上手かった！
