after the injury, shinya's been having a hard time working on things that require precision. but he's getting much better now. 

指を怪我してからしばらく細かい作業が出来ずお箸も持てなかったのに、今やこんなチマチマしたことが出来るようになるなんて。驚愕の我流リハビリ。

made a new key for the Faster Son.

新たにFaster Sonのキーを作ったのであった。

oh...not again! lately, when we go for a ride with our ridemate D, his RD gets some kind of trouble and we always have to turn back along the way. however he said he fixed everything and supposed to make his come back today :D

またか。またなのか。一緒に山に行くと必ず壊れて途中で引き返す羽目になる友達DのRD。バッチリ直したからこの前のリベンジ行こうって誘われて乗りに行ったけど、途中で路肩に寄っていくD・・・バッチリ直ってなーいー。3台ともヤマハ。

the new owner brought in the Suzuki RL250 that shinya parted with about an year ago. the new owner said it wouldn't start.

新しいオーナー（近所のパン屋さん）が「エンジンが掛からなくなってしまった！」と1年ほど前に木村氏がお別れを告げたスズキのRL250を悲壮な顔をして持って来たので直してあげることに。

it didn't take shinya long to make it running again.

あっという間にエンジン掛かった。モクモク

then shinya started to tinker around the XR185 :)

そして流れでXR185改200をいじくり出す木村氏。

Pasadena Art Center Car Classic 2016...

we were supposed to be on the dry lake today, racing, but Spike wasn't ready (shinya wanted to try a pair of new pistons etc.) so we decided to participate in Car Classic 2016 at Art Center in Pasadena instead. our another favorite annual event.

本当は今頃ドライレイクでレースなはず・・・しかし、新しいピストンを試したい木村氏は準備が間に合わず今回は見送り11月の最終戦に賭けることに。代わりにもうひとつの好きな集まり、パサデナのアート・カレッジで毎年開催されるCar Classicに参加することに。

わースカラベが羽を広げてエンジン出てきた！

spotted our friend's Metro Snap-on Tool van that our neighbor-friend M painted it.

近所のSnap-on屋が趣味でやり遂げたMetroのヴァンを発見。塗装はチャボの隣のMがやったんだった。

 now fun time is over. everyone is heading back.

そろそろお開き。ほとんどが自走で帰るところが最高。

 shinya wanted to stay until the Miura started the engine :)

ミウラがエンジン掛けるまで帰らない、と粘る木村氏。子供かっ！

納車直前のこちらはチャボバンで。

shinya rode the Faster Son here and is riding back. i see a black rain cloud hanging low ahead though....

メヌード乗って来た木村氏はメヌードで帰る。帰り道に雨雲が暴れてるのが見えるけど・・・

he had to ride in the downpour for quite a while and it stopped　after we sheltered from the rain in a cafe.

土砂降りの中けっこう乗って、小降りになってから雨宿りしたら止んだ。

got lucky to see this huge rainbow when we got back to the workshop :)(actually it was a double rainbow but couldn't capture the other one) had a great sunday after all.

そして、チャボに着いたら大きな虹が。良い気分。ダブルだったんだけど、もう一つは写真にとらえられず。そんな日曜日。
