というイベントの一環だと思うよ。

別にお酒やオートブルが振舞われるから行ったんじゃないよ。

we found many of little Hondas' at the willow springs swap meet on saturday so we took pictures of them for our friend Mr.falcon N who loves these cute Hondas.

カブ好きが高じて前回の渡米の際、スワップミートで2台も衝動買いしてしまったN美氏を悔しがらせるため、土曜日のレース場でのスワミで見つけたカブの写真を公開いたします。

「たいした加工じゃないよ・・・」とご覧のような表情に。

でも、アグスタ用に４つ、ちゃんと出来上がりました。

充分精密ですよ、念のため。

納車前日に突然思いついて透明シールドを装着。

バフ掛けで顔がうす汚いけど、全部終わって満足そうですな。

辛かったけど、今となっては良い思ひ出。

secret bike, it's done and was delivered...

ok, i　had to keep it secret and i still should...oh well, i'll give it a try...shinya had been working on one of the Ducati superbikes and it's finally done! 

a couple of years ago he did "bantam", a 2000 model twincam Harley-Davidson for first time, and he has done a couple of newer model sportsters for racing back in those days in japan. but basically, as you know, he specializes in old motorcycles simply because he loves them.

although he feels great respect for superbikes, he wasn't so interested in those modern (when he says modern it means 1990's~2010) bikes because he just couldn't find anything he liked. so he said "i think i will make something i like by myself!" that's how all the customizations and modification started, right?

shinya loves motorcycles and always respects its original designs. that's the basis of his idea and it's going to stay that way　no matter what he creates. but it was quite a challenge for him to work on a modern bike with tons of wires and computers. ♪aarrgghhh♪ while he was working on this Ducati, he often said dispiritedly "oh, i miss old motorcycles so much! they are so simple and much friendlier! i can ride, fix, ride, fix, and ride forever!!" but he also said, "i'm glad that i took a chance to work on the modern bike. now i went through and i take great pride in announcing that I LOVE OLD MOTORCYCLES!"

anyway, we delivered the bike to the owners yesterday. they were all happy. the bike will debut next month by the owner so i'd wait to post more details and pictures until then. but here it is. the name of the bike is "EDGE." it's super frightening fast and yes, that's the exhaust.

最近こそこそと秘密に製作していたDucatiのスーパーバイクが完成しました。来月オーナーの方によってデビューするそうなので、本当はまだ公開してはいけないでしょうけれども、少しだけ。どこを開けてもとてつもない束のワイヤーやコンピュータがどっさり、日々戦い。でも完成！
