普段あまり飲みませんが、いよいよエナジードリンクを投入する木村氏。

フロント・フェンダー、ちゃいちい。

shinya wants to finish this honda handsome SS by saturday for the japanese classic car show. the show is all about japanese cars and motorcycles and we brought the hoon (honda C100) two years ago. Koji, the organizer asked us to participate last year but we were away for the cannonball. this year we had a plan to visit the show but not to bring the bike because we had no finished japanese bikes except the hoon and there is no way for shinya to bring the same bike to the same show again.

なぜこんなに我武者羅にハンサムSS号に集中しているのかといいますと、土曜日のジャパニーズ・クラッシク・カー・ショウに持って行くため。今年で9回目を迎えるこのショウは、名前の通り日本の旧いクルマ、そして一昨年からはオートバイも展示することになって、その年に主催者のKoji氏に声を掛けてもらってhoon（ホンダのカブC100）をディスプレイしました。去年も誘っていただいたのに、キャノンボールでどこかの州を彷徨っていた我々は参加出来ず。で、今年は完成している日本車はhoon以外にはないですし、まさか同じショウに同じオートバイで参加する訳にはいきませんから、普通に観に行こうと思っていました・・・

先月Koji氏がチャボにいらしてくださった時にもそのようにお話ししたのですが、Koji氏のこのショウに賭ける熱い思いや、アメリカで多くの人々にずっと愛され続けている日本車ですが、まだまだ歴史が浅い、もっと盛り上げていきたい、など深い話に心動かされた木村氏は、出来るだけ新しいものを作るように頑張るけれど何しろ時間がないので間に合わないかもしれないので、その時は不本意ながら再びhoonで参加する、と思わず約束してしまったのでした。で、今こんな感じです。間に合うかも？明後日だけど・・・
