fellow dry lake land speed racing competitors BS from Arizona and BM from San Bernardino came to see us. today of all days, a rain storm hit sunny California but they rode anyway. they were soaked to the skin.
いつもエル・ミラージで会うランド・スピード・レース仲間のBSはアリゾナから、もう一人のアズサから1時間半くらい東のところのに住んでいる同じく最高速レース仲間BMと一緒にチャボに遊びに来てくれた。よりによって豪雨注意報が出ている日にオートバイで・・・完璧ヌレネズミの二人。

just at the moment they got here, ironically, the rain stopped but they said it was fun enough.
いっちばん雨の酷い時に来ちゃったみたい。彼らがチャボに着いた途端に雨は止み、嘘のように晴れ間が見えてきた。でも、楽しかったからいいんだ！という彼ら、好きです。
have a safe ride back, guys!(learn later that they got caught in the heavy rain again on the way back :<)
帰り道気をつけて！（結局帰りも途中で土砂降りにあったらしい）
