H-san of Shaft Silver Works from japan arrived at lax for "inspiration 2014" this coming weekend. shinya and H-san have known each other for a long time but this will be H-san's first time visiting shinya in the US.

ついに来た！Shaft Silver WorksのHン間氏が今週末のRin Tanaka氏主催の　"inspiration" に出展する為にLA入り。木村氏と長い付き合いだけれど、実は初チャボなんです。

そしてもちろん、チャボのおもてなしと言えば山。もう有無も言わせずHン間氏を即強制連行。

photographer Hiroshi Harada is not only a photographer but also a motorcycle enthusiast. he stopped by on the way back from baja california so we took him to the canyon.

写真家の原田ヒロシ氏がバハ・カリフォルニアでの撮影の旅を終えて、チャボに寄ってくださった。オートバイ愛好家でもある原田氏を山にお連れしない訳にはいかない。

he brought his hasselblad with him, loading a new film here :)

うー・・・フィルムを巻いたり入れ替えたりするってやっぱりカッコイイ行為のひとつ。
 

the sky was filled with rain clouds around the top so we decided to head back.

山の上に雨雲が広がっていたので、ここでUターン。また是非遊びにいらしてください！

when we came back from the canyon, Wata pulled over. he wanted to show off his new used welding machine that he just got :)

山から戻って来るとちょうどWタナベ氏がニヤニヤしながらやって来た。念願だった溶接機を中古で見つけてアズサ（清水）の舞台から飛び降りたらしい。

now Wata is one more step closer to his dream, building racing machine and race it!

溶接機を手に入れたとなれば、またまたレーシングマスィーンを作ってレースするという夢に一歩近づいた！これで合計12歩ぐらい進んだんじゃないかな？喜ぶWタナベ氏と木村氏。今夜はお祝いだ！

いよいよ大物、タンクのバフ掛け！

永遠のバフ掛け後、ミドリ星人登場・・・

more he gets miserable, the more the tank gets beautiful :)

木村氏が汚れれば汚れるほど、タンクは美しく輝く。

got up early and came to the old cars' graveyard in high spirits to find some parts for my duster.

早起きして意気揚々とクルマの墓場へダスターのパーツを探しにやって来た。

then found the chevy van forthwith...

 

と、いきなりチャボバンと同じ型のバン発見・・・ 

 that's right, we needed the mirror!

そうそう、チャボバンのミラー欲しかったんだった！

 then wata found something for his project.

おっと、ご自分のプロジェクト用のものを発見するWタナベ氏。

finally, we found some slant-6s and got what we needed. the whole time while we were there they were saying "this is soooo fun! this is paradise!"　 :)

ダスターと同じスラント6のエンジンを発見。「いやぁ、楽しいーー！！最高！！」と言いながら、アレコレ取り外す木村氏とWタナベ氏。クルマの墓場で「天国だな、こりゃ。」とはこれ如何に。ま、これこそ究極のリサイクル、地球にやさしいのであーる。

came back and they started to fix the duster right away. oh i love them so much!

戻って早速ダスターの修理に取り掛かってくれる2人。意地でも直してくれちゃうし、全面的にポジティブなところが最高！
