from heaven to hell...

T-san, known as an organizer of JOINTS custom bike show in nagoya, japan, and his friend stopped by.

JOINTSの主催者Tカハシ氏がお友達と一緒にフラリと立ち寄ってくれた。またフラリと遊びに来てください！

now, painter Y was eager to ride today. she secretly aspired to ride up to the crystal cafe while she was here. although she hasn't even gotten to the halfway point yet, she said that today maybe was the day ;p

さて、何だか朝からソワソワしていた画家Y。今日は山に行くつもり満々らしい。絵を描きに来た画家の目標はいつからか「山の上のクリスタル茶屋まで自力でオートバイで行く！」になっている。しかし、滞在も後半に入って来たのにまだ半分まで行けていない。今日はどこまで距離を伸ばせるのか？
 

she did great up to this point but the road gets steeper from here so we stopped. Y said she wanted to keep on going.

ここまではかなり絶好調。ここから道が細かくなっていくし、画家のライディングに謎の現象が出始めたので今日はここまで・・・と思いきや、もう少しだけ進むことに。

 and she was right :)

謎の現象も収まり、再び絶好調の画家。

got to the halfway point!! and she wanted to keep on going.

ついに半分地点まで来た！そして、もう少し進むことに。

かなり道が巻き始めましたが、果敢にも進み続ける画家。

木の種類も変わり始めたら、もうすぐそこ！

 yes!! she made it!!

そして、ついに茶屋に到着！やったね、画家！

さて、ギャラリーに見守られつつ下山の時間です。

downgrade was a bit scary for her and she put on a serious look.

下りにビビる画家の顔がすでに真顔の向こう側に行ってしまっている。

she managed to make it back safely all the way :) however it looked like uncle shinya was sparing in giving praise and didn't even say good job to her. he said Y made some critical mistakes and she needed more practice. is she gonna try again? to be continued...

たくさんの怖い思いをしながらも、無事に帰ることが出来た画家Y！よくやった！しかし、鬼教官から褒められることはなく、怒涛のダメ出し地獄が待っていたのであった。ということで、立派に完走したのに一次試験は不合格になってしまって落ち込む画家（そもそも試験だったとは！）・・・この後どうなるのか？！鬼練は続くのか？それとも画家はもうオートバイを降りてしまうのか？

お仕事で近くにいらしていたスパイクのオーナーが、シーズン開幕前にスパイクを磨きにやって来た。久しぶりにピカピカになったスパイク。

now it's crunch time...

そして鬼練のお時間・・・注：あくまでも画家は絵を描きに来ています。

it turned out to be a very cold day today, completely different from the summery weather of last week.

真夏日だったのが嘘のように冬に逆戻りのアズサ周辺。 寒さと緊張でダブルパンチな画家。

however, niece Y was riding with a big smile and expanding her riding range :)

しかし、笑みを浮かべる余裕も。確実に走行距離を伸ばしております。

her face turned serious on the way back.

帰りは超真剣、真顔な画家。

but it's okay, she rides pretty well in the canyon now. she's a bold yet subtle artist, at the same time, we feel her burning desire to ride a motorcycle like her uncle.  

いきなりこんな山道を乗りこなせるようになるにはやっぱり鬼教官の鬼練が必要なんざんすね。そして、しなくてもいいのに試練に立ち向かおうとする画家の「パンクなおきあがりこぼし魂」カッコイイ。真顔上等！

画家の安堵の笑顔につられて叔父木村にも笑顔が。

oh my... the smile didn't last long on the drill sergeant shinya's face and the new lesson begins.

しかし、笑顔もつかの間。叔父木村はさっと鬼教官に戻り、新たな試練に立ち向かう画家Y。

さて、木村氏がXLの調整に格闘している一方で、画家Yは描き続けている。

shinya said he got the perfect setting and called niece Y to check it out.

そうこうしていると、XLが素晴らしい乗り味になったと画家を呼び出す叔父木村。じゃあ、少し乗ってみるという話にそりゃなりますとも。

now, uncle shinya becomes a drill sergeant.

姪っ子のためにセッティングしてくれていた優しい叔父がここからは鬼教官に豹変。

Y finally smiled because she had a good ride :D　and her uncle finally smiled, too.

特訓の成果を実感した画家にやっと笑顔が。つられて鬼教官も笑顔。

山から戻ったら突然の雨。ぎりぎりセーフ。

shinya's trying to shake down the XL100 a bit more for his niece to ride smoothly.

もう少しXL100のセッティングを調整して、画家が乗りやすくしよう。そう思い立った叔父木村。

 

 hmm...it acting up now...

あらら。調子が悪くなってしまったらしい。
