BK is visiting from poland and came to see us from vegas where he and his wife are staying for now. he said he rented a harley for a day, left his wife in vegas, rode 4 hours in the super cold weather to get here!
ポーランドからアメリカに遊びに来ているというBKが滞在先のラスヴェガスからチャボに来てくれた。話を聞くとかなりのハードコア。まずはチャボに来るために一日だけレンタル・ハーレーを借り、奥方をヴェガスに残して4時間のライド。途中の峠であまりにも寒くて引き返そうと奥方に泣きの電話を入れるも、ここで戻ったらもう二度とシンヤに会えないかもしれないと、冷凍人間になりながらも先に進み無事にアズサ入り。
however he stayed only 15 minutes or so at our workshop (he was still frozen) and went back to vegas. another 4-hour ride on the freezing I-15. WOW. we felt really bad but it was a pelasure meeting you, BK! thank you for coming all the way.
なのに15分くらいのチャボ滞在でトンボ帰り、身体が解凍する間もなくヴェガスに戻って行った。もう、本当に申し訳なく思い、暖かいスープやおにぎりを持たせてあげられなかったことを深く後悔する。あーでも留守にしていなくて本当に良かった。来てくれてありがとう、BK！

さて、我らが王様、サニーOカモモト氏とTナカRンタロウ氏がオレゴンに行く前にチャボに！
they came to south dakota to see us during the cannonball last year. Sunny is the one who provided us the #80 sweater and the racing boots for us. now checking our new "spare" 1915 indian motor for the next cannonball.
彼らは昨年のキャノンボール中にもサウスダコタ州まで応援に駆け付けてくれた。（サニーOカモト氏は♯80のチームセーターやレースブーツを作ってくださった方）次回のキャノンボール用に見つけたスペアの1915年インディアン・エンジンを鑑賞中。我々がやけに苦労していたのを実際に見て知っているお2人は、スペアを手に入れたことを心底喜んでくれた。

and of course we took them to the canyon ride. it was sunny and warm at the bottom but getting foggy and chilly up here. we get still ear-to-ear grin though.
そして山へ。下界のポカポカお天気が嘘のように、上に行くにつれどんどん冷え込む。それでもこの笑顔になっちゃうところが山のマジック。
we were chilled to the bone so sat inside the cafe on the top. the hot coco we had there was the highlight of the day :) (we thought of you, BK!) it's amazing to see and feel the changing of seasons. riding in the canyon is always fun.
いやぁ、寒さが骨身染みる頃ようやく上のクリスタル茶屋に到着。茶屋の中に座らせてもらって温かいココアをいただく至福。（さっきのヴェガスに帰って行ったBKの気持ちが分かった）それにしてもやっぱり山は最高。季節の移り変わりを感じられるのも嬉しい。
couldn't see the snow they had yesterday because of the white wall of fog but it was very mystic.
霧の壁で見えなくなっている所には昨日降った雪が積もっているらしい。いつもとはうって変わって神秘的な景色。
they really look cold :D but we had a great ride :)
本当に寒そうな3人。でも楽しかった！！お付き合いくださりありがとうございました！
