corsa moto classica　2014. it was raining really hard last night but now it's super clear. windy and chilly,though.

コルサ・モト・クラシカを観戦しにウィロー・スプリングスのレース場に来た。スワップミートの水たまりは昨晩降った雨のなごり。風強し。そして毎年ジリジリと熱いので薄着で来たら日本のお正月くらいの寒さ！

always watch at sidecar races with amusement. old bmw was purring into life.

サイドカーのレースって色んな意味で興味深い。一台だけ古いベーエムヴェーが良い音を響かせていた。

have no clue what's going on over there. :D

しかし、こうなってくると一体あそこで何が繰り広げられているのか・・・非常に気になって眠れない。

Ted's Special Motorcycle Works (#89 CB160, he took off the front fairing due to the gusty wind) followed by Animal Boat Customcycles (#72 CB160)!!

強風のためカウルを外した89番のテッズスペシャルMエジマ氏とそれを追うカウルを外さなかった72番のアニマル・ボートMカサ氏。カッコイイ。

画家Yの木曜日はこんな感じ。

she got her motorcycle license right after her visit to azusa with her husband last year but she has never got a chance to ride in japan. so uncle shinya took her to the canyon to practice.

さて、去年画家でオートバイ乗りでもある旦那さんとアズサに遊びに来て、日本に帰国後すぐにバイクの免許を取ったガッツのある画描きのY。でも日本では中々乗る機会がなかったらしく、さっそくアズサ山で叔父木村の特訓が始まった。

well, Y was a bit nervous at the beginning but she's shinya's niece, after all, catches on quickly.

最初は緊張していたものの、中々筋のよい画家。山の途中までソロで下山。

came back from the canyon but shinya's intensive training continues.

山から戻ってもまだまだ叔父木村の特訓は続く。

"can i stop now, uncle?" "no, 2 more laps!" ( i just made up the dialogue)

画家「そろそろ止めてもいっすか？」　叔父木村「まだまだー！あと２周！」　とこんな会話が交わされていそうな一コマも。（実際は交わされていないけど）

DM of Animal Boat Customcycles from tokyo and TM of Ted's Special Motorcycle Works from kanagawa, japan are here in socal along with their machines, CB160, for the "corsa motoclassica" at willow springs raceway this weekend.

東京のアニマル・ボートのMカサ氏と神奈川のテッズスペシャル・モーターサイクルワークスのMジマ氏が、それぞれのマシーンと共に今週末のウィロー・スプリングスでのレースに参戦するために南カリフォルニア入り。偶然チャボの近くのガレージで準備中ということで覗かせてもらった。
