the owner of the mightyB is coming tomorrow to test ride it for the first time.

明日オランダからマイティBのオーナーが初めて完成車を見に、そしてテスト・ライドをしにやって来る。

いや、準備万端じゃないみたい。何か始まっちゃった。

the front fairing stay has been bothering shinya and he decided to remake it.

木村氏曰く「ずっと違和感があった」カウルのステイ、やっぱりオーナーに見てもらう前に作り直した。

we went for a canyon ride and we heard the sound of the CB750, I thought we had such a productive day and was going to finish off the day...

山にも行ったし、王様の音も聞けたし、充実した一日だったなあ。と完璧に〆に入っていると・・・

 but shinya started the engine of the sepia.

セピアという名のナッコーのエンジンを掛け始める木村氏。

the sepia has very powerful roar. must be really fast on the salt flats :P

いやぁ、このナッコーいい。ボンネビル走ったら速そう、なーんて思ったり。

now shinya became wide-awake and started to work on his XR185 engine.

ナッコーの音を聞いて何だかノリノリになっちゃった木村氏は、この間降ろしたXR185のエンジンを開けだす。

he found a pair of brand new forged pistons inside that were larger than the original. shinya was overjoyed in the middle of the night.

中には大きなピストンが入っていて、しかも新品の鍛造だっていうので夜中に大喜びする木村氏。

already fell in love with the sound...

do you see some giant pine cones on the limb?  we always pick them up but we've never had a chance to see them on the tree until today :)

パイナップル級のドデカ松ぼっくり、いつも拾ってばかりで木になっているのを見たことがなかったけど・・・見れた！下から見ても大きいのが分かる。

no wonder it was so strange. the US version wiring was a bit different fort the '76.

何かおかしいと思ったら、76年式のUS仕様の配線ってちょっとトリッキーらしい。謎が解けてにやつく木村氏。

when he sets this iv stand, it means we can hear the sound soon.

お、この点滴セットみたいなのが出て来たってことは、そろそろ音が聞けるのかも？
 

spike is covered all over with wounds...

after the first day of the last race, shinya found the inefficient valve seat contact and fix it temporarily just for the next day. now he's going to fix the problem　on a full scale.

前回のレース初日が終わってから、どうもヴァルヴの密着が悪いので応急処置で2日目に臨んだスパイク。次回のレースまでにしっかり対策せねば。
 

 he also found a crack on the cylinder head...

シリンダーヘッドにクラックも発見。

 now he works on the spike for next race.

さて、来月のレースに向けてスパイクの準備も進めておかないと。
