day 1: afterwards...

and shinya came back to the finishing point way before his class arrival time! the reason why he was pushing the indian was because when he was waiting at the very last never changing traffic light, the oil caught fire and had to stopped the engine. crews can't help riders before they check in at the finish so we couldn't help but watching him was a bummer but it was nothing major, no damages to shinya nor the indian.

そして戻ってまいりました！ラリー形式なので3クラスそれぞれ戻ってくる時間が決まっていて、その時間内にチェック・インしなければならないのですが、時間前に到着。なぜインディアンを押しているのかと言うと、最後の信号待ちがとてつもなく長くてエンジンが熱くなりすぎオイルに引火、ボヤ騒ぎ。なのでエンジンを止めてとぼとぼ押して来たのです。クルーはライダーがゴールでチェック・インするまで手伝うことが出来ないので、ボヤ騒ぎもただ見ているだけしかないというもどかしさ。でも、怪我もダメージもなく無事なので良かった。

finally shinya has checked in and now we can say that the team 80 cleared the first stage. daytona beach, florida to lake city, florida. done.

時間が来てゴールでチェック・イン。チーム80、ステージ1をクリア。フロリダ州デイトナ・ビーチからフロリダ州のレイク・シティまで。

start getting ready for tomorrow at the finishing point.

早く明日の準備と点検をしたいので、みんなゴール地点で整備を始める。

and it's begun to rain...a thunder storm is on it's way.

そして雨が降り出す・・・どうやら嵐が来ているらしい。

but it won't stop them.　the motor is in good shape so they are so happy :)

しかし、雨とかまったく関係なく点検を続ける木村氏とN美氏。エンジンの調子はすこぶる良いそうで上機嫌な二人。

ah...

おっと・・・

they spotted that the center of the kicker gear was lose. it wasn't major major but they wanted to make it right now to prevent a major major later. so here comes the welder (that we brought just in case) :)

キッカーギアの中心がグラついているのを発見。今のうちに直しておけば後に大きな問題に発展しないかも。ということで初日から溶接機登場。

it's all good now and we're ready for tomorrow!

修理も無事終わり、明日の準備万端です！
